About Us
U.N.I.T.Y. of NC Inc. was given as a vision to Valisha J. Kelly in the early 2000's and was officially founded by Valisha in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2004, as a federal tax-exempt 501(c) 3 Center for Youth & Family Development, a charitable and educational organization initially operating as a non-profit organization providing services to youth and families in the Mecklenburg County and North Carolina Region. We promote the involvement of parents, families, educators, businesses and community leaders in the programs that provide social awareness, education, and community service. In collaboration with several local, state and federal agencies, U.N.I.T.Y. of NC Inc offers various Programs & Services, Trainings, and workshops to assist in the overall development of youth and families.
